A new member to the TT Volume 3 series of running workouts. This volume is for the intermediate-advanced runner and is the perfect addition to any 5k or 10k training program.
What puts this interval running workout in a class of its own is a new feature we call "5-4-3-2-1" intervals.
Stated simply, this type of interval training will help you run at your faster speeds for a longer period of time. Isn't that what we're all after, anyways? Volume 3 - Intermediate is a motivating running workout that (again) offers you more variety to prevent boredom and to help you run faster with less training!
If you've used any of the other Treadmill Trainer Volume 2 or 3 workouts, then this program is a must. It's not necessarily about being that much more challenging than the other workouts, but instead it provides yet another invaluable and unique approach to training your body in a new manner.
Remember, variety = progress...and less boredom.
As with all of our Treadmill Trainer running workouts, if your goal is to run faster, farther, and longer while spending less time training, then this new iPod running workout is one you'll want to add to your collection.
This is one of my (Yuri) new favourite workouts because it really begins to challenge your ability to recover quickly near the latter part of the workout, just as the interval speeds begin to increase.
